Welcome to Northern Star Translation.
We are a registered non-profit organization located in Boston, Massachusetts. Our goal is to promote education in politics and philosophy in China by translating writings from English into Mandarin Chinese. We are dedicated to bring new ideas from English publications to the Mandarin-speaking audience.

At Northern Star Translation, we believe in the power of ideas and writings are powerful instruments to convey ideas. Our translation mainly focuses on subjects of sociology and philosophy. However, we are open to any reader recommendations.Â
We embrace the diversity of opinions by presenting variety of work from authors who have different philosophies.

With this initiative, our goal is to make ideas borderless. Like what we say to our volunteers: we could not do it without YOU. Every one of your action constitutes a change in the society, how big or small the change is depends on you.
